Minestrone Soup

Minestrone Soup
1 can white beans
2 quarts broth (chicken, veg, whatever)
2 cloves garlic
1 large bay leaf
2 tbs olive oil
1 large onion, diced
2 stalks celery, diced
2 carrots, diced
1 zucchini, diced
1 can diced tomatoes
1 cups sliced green beans
¼ cup barley
¾ cup macaroni
½ tsp oregano
Place olive oil, garlic and onion in large soup pot.  Sauté until softened.  Add all other ingredients except macaroni.  Simmer for 10 minutes.  Add macaroni and cook until macaroni is al dente.
